Flora Caputo Organizes “Culinarium” for Dames d’Escoffier Chicago

CHICAGO, October 17, 2016 — The Chicago chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier’s, led by Jacobs Agency’s Vice President and Executive Creative Director, Flora Caputo, has produced yet another amazing biennial fundraiser. The brainchild of Caputo, this year’s theme was a Feast for the Senses, entitled Culinarium.

The fundraiser was a huge success. It was packed with excitement: jugglers, fire-eaters, a carnival barker, even games that played with the senses. Add that to a silent auction and themed party drinks, followed by a carnival-inspired dinner and Dessert Dash. The night concluded with speeches from past winners of the Dames’ culinary scholarship.

“I am so proud of the Dames and what we have accomplished this year,” said Caputo. “Beyond all our other events and fundraising throughout the year, this event raised over $50,000. It will all go to our community outreach programs and, of course, our scholarship fund. It really was a great success this year!”
