Jacobs Agency Begins Work on Shopper Marketing Core Capabilities
CHICAGO, March 21, 2017 — Jacobs Agency recently brought on Chris Sinta to head a new Shopper Marketing initiative. Having spent 10 years at ConAgra Foods working as the Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships, Sinta brought a wealth of shopper knowledge to the agency. Chris worked with brands such as Chicago Wolves, Kraft Velveeta, RoTel and Orville Redenbacher as well as ConAgra’s charity, Child Hunger Ends Here.
From customized smartphone shopping experiences to co-branded promotions to anticipating consumer needs, Jacobs Agency is taking advantage of all the opportunities shopper marketing has to offer. “Shopper Marketing is a dynamic part of the food category business that is constantly changing and evolving,” said, Tom Jacobs, President of Jacobs Agency. “We’re really excited to be in the middle of it and help our clients see even more engagement with their brands.”
Earlier this year, Jacobs began concepting bigger Shopper Marketing experiences. The agency is looking toward both the summer months and holiday season for the Smithfield brands. There’s sure to be many more opportunities for the agency to expand in this growing field.
Jacobs Agency is 40 strong and still growing, with a full service offering for top brand name local and regional clients including Smithfield Foods, Amtrak, Insurance Auto Auctions and Baird & Warner.
Now as then, Jacobs Agency remains a fiercely independent Chicago based full service agency.
