Jacobs Agency Supports HIMSS Annual Conference for 4th Consecutive Year

CHICAGO, March 4, 2013 — HIMSS13 kicks off today in New Orleans with the help of Jacobs Agency. Every year, HIMSS’ annual conference brings together thousands of IT professionals, clinicians and healthcare executives from around the world. For the fourth consecutive year, HIMSS had relied on Jacobs Agency to develop a theme, visual identity, messaging platform and extensive marketing support for the conference and a number of specialty programs.

New this year, HIMSS13 features the theme Health IT: Right Time. Right Place. It’s On, a hard-hitting, attitudinal line meant to rally attendees. Visually, HIMSS13 graphics feature original photography juxtaposed against intersecting, three-dimensional planes to symbolize the confluence and urgency of impending healthcare mandates and industry reform. Jacobs Agency extended HIMSS13 branding across all materials for the conference, including collateral, signage, online and direct mail elements.

Jacobs Agency also supported a number of HIMSS13 specialty programs, including HIT X.0, Leading from the Future, and the Summit for Healthcare Information and Financial Technology.

This year, HIMSS expects close to 30,000 people will attend between the physical show and the new virtual conference.
