Jacobs Agency’s Flora Caputo Joins Dames d’Escoffier Board of Directors

CHICAGO, March 30, 2016 — Jacobs Agency’s own Flora Caputo has been invited to join the Chicago chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier’s board of directors. Les Dames d’Escoffier is a prestigious, worldwide leadership organization of women who have achieved success in their professions, but have also contributed significantly to their communities. Since 1973, Les Dames d’Escoffier has followed its mission to foster excellence and promote the achievements of women in the culinary arts.

Flora has been busy working with the Communications Committee, getting the quarterly newsletter off the ground and helping to plan the biennial fundraisers. The previous fundraiser, “Swank-a-Licious” was a huge success. With her new position on the board of directors, Caputo will be using her background in advertising and art direction to lead an initiative to redesign the website and become a part of Google for Nonprofits.

“I am so honored to have been asked to take on a bigger role with Les Dames d’Escoffier Chicago,” said, Caputo, Vice President and Executive Creative Director at Jacobs Agency. “This group of women is extremely talented and I’m very excited to work with them on some innovative projects. My main project is to get us listed in Google Nonprofits, which will give us access to a full suite of free tools as well as grant money to broaden our fundraising reach.”
