Jacobs and Krakus Unveil Ham Train in Chicago
CHICAGO, September 4, 2015 — This year, Jacobs Agency and Krakus teamed up to bring the city of Chicago something different. It began with Krakus sponsoring part of Chicago’s Taste of Polonia event. It was a perfect match. From there, Jacobs had to find a way to not only spread the word about Krakus, but the event.
From there, the Ham Train was born. Two cars on the CTA’s blue line were wrapped to look like a Krakus package and a ham sandwich. The train traveled throughout the city promoting Krakus ham, as well as bringing people to the Taste of Polonia event.
“This is such a fun and different approach for Krakus,” said, Flora Caputo, Vice President and Executive Creative Director at Jacobs Agency. “I’m so glad we were able to make this come to life. Word has been spreading and people can’t wait to ride the famed Ham Train throughout Chicago.”
