Tom Jacobs Named 2015-16 President of the Chicago AMA

CHICAGO, July 1, 2015 — The board of directors for the Chicago chapter of the American Marketing Association has named Tom Jacobs 2015-2016 President. For more than 75 years, the Chicago AMA has delivered cutting-edge marketing programming, connected marketers across all disciplines and business industries, and enabled marketing career advancement.

Tom Jacobs, President of Jacobs Agency, has served on the board of directors for the Chicago AMA since 2013. Tom has served as President-Elect since last June and closed out 2014 with one of the most successful years with growing membership and record event attendance as the leading AMA Chapter across the country.

“This is a very exciting time for the Chicago AMA and for the marketing community of Chicago and the Chicagoland area. We are coming off of great growth last year and I see a clear challenge for the clients and agencies of this truly great advertising community to get involved and raise the level of play across the board.
