Turano Debuts New Campaign with Help from Jacobs Agency
CHICAGO, May 5, 2014 — Jacobs Agency is proud to announce the launch of the new Turano outdoor campaign. Since 1962, family-owned Turano Baking Company has been providing top quality, authentic European-style breads and rolls to the greater Chicago area.
To build awareness for two new products and lift retail sales at the start of grilling season, Jacobs Agency developed an eye-catching creative platform that prominently features Turano’s brioche bun and bambino roll. Using clever turns of phrase, like “Oh My Brioche” and “Bello Bambino,” the campaign positions Turano’s new products as exciting and worth a try. The creative also features original photography of packaging for brand recognition, as well as sandwiches for taste appeal and application suggestions.
“The new spring campaign looks fantastic. It was great to have the opportunity to showcase some of the client’s new offerings,” said Kathleen Pletcher, Associate Creative Director, Copy. “We wanted to build awareness and drive sales for the new products, and this year we took full advantage of our outdoor medium. The bright Turano red, bold font, and exclaiming and engaging copy is sure to generate some attention.”
The new campaign can be seen on expressway billboards, CTA 2-sheets and bus tails throughout the city this spring. In tandem with the outdoor campaign, Turano is also running a #ohmybrioche hashtag promotion on Facebook and Instagram to drive greater consumer engagement.
